Stuart Pearson

Senior Minister

Stuart is the Senior Minister at St Luke's. He is married to Julie and they have three boys, Matthew, Nicholas and Daniel. They have been at St Luke's since 1996.

Before entering full time Christian ministry, Stuart worked in the building and air conditioning industry as an electrician. He enjoys the occasional bike ride, watching his boys play sport, and sharing a good meal and movie with friends.

Stuart enjoys the relaxed and friendly nature of St. Luke's and the opportunity to explain God's Word in a challenging and relevant way.

Stephen Cox

Associate Minister

Stephen joining St Luke's in 2007 after four years studying at Moore Theological College. He is always amazed by the love of God and enjoys sharing the great news about our Saviour Jesus with others.

His main responsibilities are to pastor the Evening congregation and train Bible Study leaders. Stephen is married to Anneliese and they have three children – Trinity, Elijah and Lachlan.

Stewart Binns

Cross Cultural Worker

Stewart has been a Christian for 30 years and works primarily with people from different cultures. This work takes him to the streets of Liverpool, into Detention Centres and occasionally overseas. He specialises in helping people of Muslim origin to know Christ and His salvation, through the ‘Word of Life' Bible Correspondence Course, Bible studies and personal contact. He is married to Helen and has two adult children.

Lauren Crawford

Administrator

Lauren is the Church Administrator at St Luke's. With everything that goes on at St Luke's she is kept very busy helping to make it run smoothly. She is married to Rod and they have four children, Erin, Jessica, Leah and Kyle. Lauren and Rod have been members of St Luke's since 1990. Lauren enjoys spending time with friends & reading a good book. She loves the Bible teaching at St Luke's.

Matthew Bennett

MTS

Matthew started working at St Luke's 2010 in a position that is designed to train him in a wide reange of Bible Ministries. At the end of his time with St Lukes's, he indends to continue to train in Bible Ministry, but isn't sure what that may be at this time. Before coming to St Luke's, Matt worked in a bookshop in Sydney CBD. He enjoys playing guitar and trying to complete books he has started to read.

Joel Moroney

Student Minister

Joel is currently in his 2nd year studying at Moore Theological College. Joel is married to Katherine. Both of them are originally from Engadine but are now living in Blakehurst. Joel loves reading comic books, discovering obscure bits of pop culture and buying T-shirts. Joel has a special focus on the youth ministry at St. Luke's.
